  not a good experience. called to arrange an estimate, and was told I would be contacted to arrange a time. didn't get a call and had to call back. arranged a time to meet, but the contractor didn't show up.

  TL Coleman finished an unfinished hardwood floor that I found beneath carpet. This was several hearts ago and they did a good job on this. But then in August 2013 I had them apply new coat of finish to an already beautifully finished floor that was just starting to show some wear. The NEW finish they applied looked awful-cloudy, milky and suddenly it scratched extremely easily. Moreover, you could never seem to get it to look clean. Two months later, I sent several emails and phone calls to ask them to refinish and fix this problem. They were terrible at responding-I had to keep calling and sending emails for a month. Then when someone DID come and look at it, he agreed that it "hadn't bonded". He was scheduled to come to refinish it twice. The first time, he just didn't show. The second time they did half of the floor. THE JOB WAS A MESS. Mop marks and shoe prints in the finish, bizarre shiny areas and a closet that was left unfinished. We have sent several emails again and left messages for them to rectify this situation. We have heard nothing. I would NEVER recommend TL COLEMAN and in fact, have already warned several of my neighbors in my neighborhood to steer clear of this group.
